WORKSHOPS

A powerful place brand is about more than land, air and water. It's also about people. The Tasmanian place brand is about you.

Our brand workshops provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the Tasmanian brand story, and how to use it in your own work – no matter what you do.

It’s also an opportunity to begin building your own brand story. Each workshop is specifically tailored for you and your sector. Broadly, the workshops cover:

EACH WORKSHOP COVERS:

1

What is a place brand?

2

The Tasmanian brand story.

3

How to personalise the brand story in your own work.

4

How to use narrative techniques to build your brand.

5

How to tell your unique story through the lens of the Tasmanian brand, so we all benefit.

6

How to use the ‘Tasmanian’ wordmark.

We endeavour to make these workshops fun, inspiring, and valuable. And with places limited to 15-20 participants in each workshop, we keep them small so that you get the most out of them.

If you’d like to find out more about these workshops, or want to book one, contact us.

Register now and become a Tasmanian partner, giving you access to tools and resources so you can tell your story in a uniquely Tasmanian way.

CURRENT WORKSHOPS

WORKSHOP: 8th April 2020 Huonville

A powerful place brand isn't only about land, air and water. It's about people. The Tasmanian place brand is about you.

The Tasmanian brand story, launched in 2019 through tasmanian.com.au, is the product of hundreds of one-on-one interviews with people across the state, from all backgrounds. It's powerful and inspiring and it will help guide the future direction of our state.

You are invited to the Tasmanian brand workshop, where you'll have the opportunity to learn the brand story and, by the end of our time together, begin using it in your own work - no matter what you do.

We will cover:

  • What is a place brand?
  • The Tasmanian brand story
  • How to personalise the brand story in your work
  • How to use narrative techniques to build your brand
  • How to fit your brand inside the Tasmanian brand, so we all benefit
  • How to use the Tasmanian wordmark and toolkit resources

The team at Brand Tasmania are working with people across the state to bring more value to everything Tasmanian. We want you to begin bringing the brand to life in your own words through your work, your travels and in your day-to-day life.

TESTIMONIALS

Today’s workshop was fantastic! Very exciting to be part of this process, your delivery was amazing and the content exactly where my thinking has been! Cannot wait to see what’s next.”

Laura
Woolnorth Tours

We have received very positive feedback from across the team about the workshop yesterday. The board were very impressed and really enjoyed it. You have changed our focus back to the story telling of the ‘who’ and ‘why’ that engages with people’s emotions rather than the ‘what’.”

Jane Bennett
TasFoods Limited

Let me start by saying how much the team enjoyed your session – they were really inspired by it. You achieved fantastic input from my creative team. As a brand that honours its sense of place and heritage, I know we will take away a lot from the session into our brand work going forward.”

Adam Blake
Global Head of Brand and Design, Blundstone

I attended your workshop this morning with my colleagues – we thought it was fantastic and we were really excited to hear about your work.”
